This chiffon cake contains rice flour according to the package. And the filling is sweet bean paste that we call “anko”. It’s a very Japanese like!
I’m afraid the chiffon cake was not my type. I prefer moister dough.
But the sweet bean paste & whipped butter cream were good.

I got this at Aeon, one of the biggest supermarkets in Japan. I don’t think it’s a regular item.
I would get again only if the chiffon cake is much moister.

Open the cup. The cake is covered by a sheet to protect the filling.
Remove the sheet on the top of it.
Remove the plate underneath.
